About AI Prompts
Good AI answers usually start with a clear instruction: who the assistant should help, what the output should look like, and which details matter. AI Prompts is a free catalog of practical templates for everyday work — writing, coding, SEO, business, learning, and social posts — so you spend less time blank-staring at a chat box.
Pick a template, copy the full prompt, replace the placeholders in brackets, and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another assistant you already use. UtilixTools does not call a paid AI API and does not generate the final answer on our servers. The page is a browser-side copy helper, like our AI Commands tool.
How to use this tool
- Filter by category (Writing, Coding, SEO, Business, Learning, Social) or search for a task such as “email”, “code review”, or “meta description”.
- Read the short description so you know when the template fits.
- Click Copy prompt, paste into your AI chat, and fill every
[PLACEHOLDER]with your real details. - Edit the result before you publish or send — prompts help you start well; you still own the final wording.
What makes a prompt useful
Vague asks like “write something about SEO” produce vague drafts. Stronger prompts usually include:
- Role or context — who you are writing for and why.
- Constraints — length, tone, format, or what not to invent.
- Inputs — the draft, notes, code, or facts the model should use.
- Output shape — bullets, outline, email body, FAQ list, and so on.
Each template here is written with those pieces in mind. You can shorten or extend them; treat them as starting points, not rigid scripts.
When to use AI Prompts vs AI Commands
AI Commands focuses on short slash-style labels people share online (/human, /eli5, /tldr) that expand into rewrite or format instructions. AI Prompts is oriented to fuller task templates — blog outlines, SEO briefs, code review, meeting summaries — where you fill several fields before you send.
If your text is long and you are hitting context limits, split it first with the Text Chunker, then estimate size with the Token Counter.
Tips for better results
- Replace every placeholder. Leaving
[TOPIC]blank is the fastest way to get generic output. - Paste real constraints (“no invented stats”, “keep under 120 words”, “PHP 8.2”).
- Ask for structured output when you need to skim — outlines, severity-ranked findings, or decision/action lists.
- Run a second pass with a rewrite or critique prompt instead of accepting the first draft as final.
- For public pages, fact-check anything that looks like a claim, number, or citation.
Privacy
Selecting and copying a template happens in your browser. Your project notes, code, or emails are not uploaded to UtilixTools when you use this page. Whatever you paste into an AI chat is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
FAQ
Do I need an OpenAI or Anthropic API key?
No. These templates are for the chat apps or accounts you already use. We do not bill model usage from this site.
Are these official ChatGPT prompts?
No. They are practical templates written for common tasks. You can adapt wording freely.
Can I use the prompts commercially?
Yes — use them for client work, content, or internal docs. You are responsible for the final content you publish or send.
Why does the list look different on mobile?
On smaller screens the catalog scrolls above the prompt detail. Tap a template and the page scrolls to the updated prompt so you can copy it easily.
